Who we are

AssembledUK is a collective of independent specialists. This website is operated by Eric Trujillo on behalf of the collective, who is the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law.

What we collect

If you email us: we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message. We use this only to reply and to discuss any work you've asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

When you visit this site: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or similar storage on your device and does not track you across other websites. It records anonymous information such as the page viewed, the referring website, your browser and device type, and your approximate country. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how many people visit the site.

Hosting: this site is hosted on Google Firebase. Like any web server, it processes your IP address to deliver the page to you and may keep it briefly in server logs for security purposes.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Google (Firebase Hosting): website hosting
Cloudflare: website analytics
Google (Google Workspace): email

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and normally no longer than 2 years after our last contact. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form only.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy of it. To use any of these rights, email hello@assembleduk.com.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
